Who can apply for the MIMIT Cloud & Cybersecurity Voucher 2026?

Micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and self-employed professionals with an Italian VAT number can apply, provided they have an internet connection with at least 30 Mbps download speed.

How much does the MIMIT voucher cover?

The voucher covers 50% of eligible expenditure, up to a maximum of €20,000 per beneficiary. The minimum eligible spend is €4,000. The grant is non-repayable.

What services can be purchased with the voucher?

The voucher covers five categories: cybersecurity hardware (firewalls, NGFW, IPS), cybersecurity software (antivirus, SIEM, encryption), cloud IaaS and PaaS (VMs, storage, backup, VPN), cloud SaaS (ERP, CRM, Microsoft 365, e-commerce) and professional configuration and support services (up to 30% of the spending plan).

When can beneficiaries apply for the voucher?

The supplier registration window closes on 23 April 2026. After that, MIMIT will publish the list of accredited suppliers within 60 days and then open the application window for beneficiaries. The exact date will be announced by ministerial decree.

Why is it important to choose an accredited MIMIT supplier?

The voucher can only be used with suppliers listed in the Ministry’s official directory. Purchasing services from a non-accredited supplier means the grant cannot be claimed. AtWorkStudio, based in Piacenza, has submitted its accreditation application.

Process and timeline

How the MIMIT Voucher works

Services must be purchased exclusively from approved suppliers registered in the MIMIT directory. AtWorkStudio is registering as an approved supplier during the registration window open from 4 March to 23 April 2026. After the registration closes, MIMIT will publish the official supplier directory and open voucher applications for businesses.

1. Supplier registration

From 4 March to 23 April 2026, suppliers register on the MIMIT platform. AtWorkStudio is completing its registration as an approved supplier.

2. Directory publication

After 23 April, MIMIT publishes the official directory of approved suppliers. Only services purchased from listed suppliers are eligible for the grant.

3. Voucher application

SMEs and professionals can submit their voucher application after the directory is published. The grant is disbursed against documented expenditure.

Eligible products and services

Cybersecurity hardware

Firewalls, next-generation firewalls (NGFW), secure routers and switches, intrusion prevention systems (IPS). Direct purchase of physical appliances.

Cybersecurity software

Antivirus and antimalware, network monitoring software, data encryption solutions, SIEM systems, vulnerability management software.

Cloud IaaS and PaaS

Virtual machines, storage and backup, network and security (VPN, anti-DDoS), databases on qualified cloud infrastructure.

Cloud SaaS

Productivity and collaboration software (including Microsoft 365 with AI), ERP, CRM, HRM, CMS, e-commerce, virtual PBX (UCC/PABX).

Professional services

Configuration, monitoring and ongoing support. Eligible for up to 30% of the total expenditure plan. Training services are excluded.

Expenditure requirements

Minimum spend €4,000, maximum grant €20,000. Services must be new or an upgrade on existing solutions. Minimum 30 Mbps connectivity required.
