The programme
By decree of 18 July 2025, Italy's Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy (MIMIT) launched a public programme worth 150 million euros to support the adoption of cloud and cybersecurity services by SMEs and self-employed professionals. The grant is non-repayable, covering 50% of eligible expenditure, up to a maximum of 20,000 euros per beneficiary. The minimum eligible spend is 4,000 euros.
Who can benefit
Applications are open to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises and self-employed professionals, including those with a VAT number, provided they have an internet connection with at least 30 Mbps download speed. The grant applies only to the purchase of new services or upgrades to existing ones.
What can be purchased
Eligible services include:
- Cybersecurity hardware: firewalls, NGFW, IPS
- Cybersecurity software: antivirus, SIEM, encryption, vulnerability management
- Cloud IaaS and PaaS: VMs, storage and backup, VPN, DDoS protection, databases
- SaaS: ERP, HRM, CRM, CMS, e-commerce, UCC/PABX
- Professional configuration, monitoring and ongoing support services, limited to 30% of the total spending plan
Purchases may be made as a direct acquisition, with a spending plan within 12 months, or as a subscription, with a minimum duration of 24 months and the grant limited to the first 24.
A key requirement
Services must be provided exclusively by suppliers registered in the Ministry's official list. It is not enough for the service to be technically sound: the supplier must be MIMIT-accredited. This is the eligibility requirement that distinguishes who can invoice against the voucher from who cannot.
AtWorkStudio position
AtWorkStudio based in Piacenza, Italy, has already submitted its application for registration in the list of accredited suppliers through the MIMIT portal. The services offered fall within the eligible categories and AtWorkStudio holds the certifications required by the decree: ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 27017.
AtWorkStudio also holds an ACN-qualified service (Agenzia per la Cybersicurezza Nazionale), which constitutes an additional alternative requirement recognised by the programme.
The supplier registration window closes on 23 April 2026. After that, the Ministry will publish the list of accredited suppliers within 60 days and open the application window for end beneficiaries.
